Worship Team

MISSION

· To grow disciples of Christ by leading God-inspired worship

VISION

· To lead people ever closer to God through worship in the Spirit of Christ, so that God’s will is done among a growing community of passionate, hungry, risk-taking, and faithful believers

· To provide music, prayer, scripture and testimony that draw others into the presence of God

· To pursue musical excellence in rehearsals, and passionate worship on Sundays

· To work routinely with the pastor, music director and media team to enhance worship, to the glory of God

· To pray constantly that God have His way with all of us, individually and as a team

EXPECTATIONS OF WORSHIP TEAM MEMBER

· Has a professed relationship with Jesus Christ, believing that by the grace of God, He is Savior of the world

· Has a passionate desire to grow in the Lord and to develop a servant’s heart

· Has a high degree of humility, with a willingness to work as part of a team

· Is morally and ethically responsible according to Biblical teachings

· Attends worship weekly

· Has an identified spiritual gift of music and a calling to serve on the worship team at this time

· Is committed to weekly practice and prayer (both with the team and individually)

· Is financially committed to the church
